DPA PEOPLE'S OUTING / Tuesday, January 4, 2011 @ 8:04 PM
I left my house around 12.45pm and train-ed all the way to CityHall.
I reached there around 1.20pm and I thought I was the earliest, since the meeting time was 1.30pm..
So i was sitting and sitting and texting Poh Hian, asking if she's reaching..
When she reached, she told me to meet her at the Service Counter area?
So yup, I tapped out and looked for her..
I was shocked to see about 20 over people there already! haha, guess they were earlier than me, just that we were waiting at different parts of the station..
Some of the DPA students were late, so myself and another bunch of people stayed at the MRT station to wait for them whilst the majority head their way towards Funan Digitalife Mall.
Then only Xinyi came! haha, we waited and waited but nobody else approached us..
So we headed to Funan Digitalife Mall..
Whilst waiting for those who were late, standing there, stoning and not talking was freaking awkward.. ._.
When we started to move, Xin Yi and I finally talk ~~!
So yeah, kinda made a new friend! Weehee~~ ^^
XinYi know Weihan too... LOLS XD then i realised, Wendy&Yinkee are like xinyi's friends..
So yeap, we went to Mind's Cafe and start playing games.
At first, we played taboo.. It wasn't that fun though..
So we kinda like switched to Scrabbles..
But right before we start playing scrabbles, the guy from the next table start asking if we wanna join tables and sort of like, interact..
So, yeah, we did.
But after joining the tables, everyone was awkward.
Like, awkward beyond words.
Then Xin Yi and I decided to go to the ladies.
Xin Yi was very amazed by their flushing system. Like haha! XD
Then we kinda walked around the level and stuffs before going back to Minds Cafe..
Cause I'm serious, it was awkward x infinity..
When we finally got back, i bought a hot dog bun and xinyi took her bread she brought from home and we went outside the cafe to eat. ><
Because it's like weird eating in front of a bunch of people u don't really know..
When we went back, we finally start socialising..
I met two cool girls! One of them's an Australian (:
Her name is Faye, and another one who's a Malay, Andi.
Well, Andi's actual name is Andalah, but I'm not very sure of its spelling.. so yeah.
Anyway, they are super cool ! [:
They were like the ice-breakers and they were really high and all :D
I've got no idea how many times I've introduced myself to all my new friends today.
It was fun, albeit the awkward moments~ hahas.
Xin Yi suggested to go back to Minds Cafe again, however, with a smaller group..
It's like, we can enjoy more and stuffs [:
So yeah, we're planning to go after we collect our O levels results...
But the outing's quite tentative..
Anyway, had a great time today..
Best thing that happened is : I made a new friend :D
So yep, didn't regret going !~
